Latest Tech Being used for Hijab woman

Millions of Muslim women choose to wear a hijab, but it is not always an easy thing to do every day. Here, we take a look at some of the latest technology being used to help hijabis to feel more comfortable, and make day-to-day life a little easier.

One of the latest advances is the Nike hijab, which is designed for use during sports and exercise. It is made to stay in place, thanks to its pull over design. The material used helps wick away sweat, leaving women feeling cool and comfortable underneath. It is helping encourage more women to play sports, at levels from school right up to professional athletes.

Another new style of hijab which has recently been developed is the VEIL. It is designed to repel water, and is also climate adapting. It’s made from waterproof nylon fabric and also reflects up to 80% of sunlight. This means it can keep the wearer up to 10 degrees Fahrenheit cooler, and when it is raining, water isn’t absorbed into the fabric. The VEIL hijab significantly reduces chaffing, so it is great for those who want to be comfortable all day.

Another tech advance for hijab-wearing women is the new emoji released which depicts a woman wearing a headscarf. Around half a billion women are thought to wear a hijab, so this new emoji is great news for women worldwide, who now have an icon to represent themselves in messages.

Women are finding creative ways to enjoy technology whilst wearing a hijab too. Some enjoy using their headscarf as a way to keep their phone in place during a conversation, leaving the hands free when carrying out other tasks. Some also say they can be used to keep ear buds in when listening to music on the go!

The internet has also been a huge source of advice and tips for hijabi women. There are thousands of articles online about subjects such as how to look fashionable in a hijab, how to tie it in different ways, and tips and advice for those just starting to wear one. There are even hashtags and social media accounts dedicated to helping hijabi sisters.

You can also find hijab store websites online, where women can browse thousands of different materials, patterns and styles to find something for every occasion. This is a great advance, allowing Muslim women anywhere to buy hijabs, even if they don’t live near a store which sells them.
