Services

Web Consultancy

Get your company a professional looking site within days and it won't cost you a fortune. We specialise in providing a content management system (CMS) coupled to a MySQL database on your host's server so that you can update the site contents yourself.

The CMS we use is the Joomla (formerly Mambo) open-source CMS on Unix/Linux hosts as it's a mature, but actively being developed, full-featured product and easy to customise. It includes site search facilities, different levels of user for site and content administration, news facilities, etc.

e-Commerce (Online Shopping)

We can set up versatile e-Commerce (shopping cart/basket) systems with secure on-line payment facilities using Virtuemart. This is a set of component and modules for Joomla which provide a comprehensive yet easy to use e-Commerce solution.

Education and e-learning

We have several years experience of producing educational applications, tools and activities aimed either at the national curriculum, including resources suitable for Curriculum Online (COL), or for adult training such as Basic/Key Skills. Examples of educational applications/experience are:-

As part of the setting up of every site we produce, we create a descriptive set of metatags, optimise the page layout for search engines and submit it to the main search engines such as Google and Yahoo.
